On the afternoon of October 29th, Fang Zhong, President of YCTU, met with Consul General Kim Seung-ho of the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai in the VIP room on the first floor of the library.
Yu Jianjiang, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of YCTU, Dong Lingling, director of the Foreign Affairs Office of Yancheng City, Feng Yongling, Director of the Propaganda Department, Gu Haifeng, director of the International Cooperation and Communication Department Office, and relevant personnel attended the meeting.
Fang Zhong expressed his warm welcome and heartfelt thanks to Kim Seung-ho for their exchanges and keynote speeches at YCTU, and briefly introduced the basic information of YCTU and the cooperation and exchanges between our university and Korean universities, hoping that Consul General Kim and the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea in Shanghai can enhance the cooperation between YCTU and Korean universities, and promote in-depth educational cooperation between the two sides in the fields of mutual visits between teachers and students, cooperation in running schools, etc.
Kim Seung-ho thanked Yancheng Teachers University and President Fang Zhong for their invitation, and said that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and South Korea, the relations between the two countries have developed rapidly, and exchanges and cooperation in the fields of economy, culture, education, science and technology have become increasingly active. Kim Seung-ho also said that he would provide necessary help for exchanges between YCTU and South Korean universities.
After the meeting, Kim Seung-ho gave a speech for the representatives of teachers and students of YCTU. In his speech, Kim Seung-ho reviewed the friendly exchanges between South Korea and China before and after the establishment of diplomatic relations, looked forward to the beautiful future of South Korea-China relations, and sent a message to all students to strive for the realization of the Chinese dream, and at the same time made vivid practice for the people-to-people affinity and heart-to-heart communication between South Korea and China. After the speech, Kim Sung-ho also interacted with the on-site college students.
