Chinese Education Center, School of International Education has set up regular and short-term Chinese courses, to cultivate listening, speaking, reading and writing competence. Besides it also provides training courses for HSK exams.
There are 4 periods per day for Chinese courses and 5 days for one week.
Regular courses are divided into three stages, namely elementary, medium and advanced level. Elementary courses aim for Chinese beginners or those who can’t speak Chinese at all. Medium courses are for those who have mastered HSK Level 3 or above. And advanced courses are for students with HSK Level 5.
Short-term courses help to experience Chinese culture and to learn Chinese in a short time, which usually lasts for 3 weeks. Main activities include Chinese Calligraphy, Taiichi and paper-cutting,etc.
In order to create a better Chinese learning environment with a better knowledge of Chinese culture, overseas students have opportunities to participate in communication activities with Chinese students to improve their Chinese proficiency.
